Conventional Swarm Enterprise Opportunities
It is often necessary to think outside the box for our existing businesses, and consider ways to top up income where we might need extra funds to invest in our core businesses.
A recent case in point in Nigeria - September 2022 - meant fore knowledge of an event coming to town for a local school teacher in SW Lagos. Through rapid networking skills, it’s possible she can get to know local taxi drivers, restaurants, hotels and tour guides so as to broker introduction fees where new business arising from the event is transacted.
She can spend monies earned that way on her school to make improvements.

Web 2 Buddies & Web 3 Buddies
Facebook is of course full of people, of all sorts, some of whom are even quite helpful. We would describe Facebook as being Web 2, many old paradigms still in existence, and at times quite extractive platform behaviours.
With crypto currencies, there is a definite distance kept with old style business practice. Things are much more collaborative, and the pervasive use of wallet IDs with many online transactions marks out the Web 3 territory.
And here again there are friendly folk willing to help.
In either case, having a clear statement about how folks can help online is a good way to find either time, effort or skills that otherwise cost hard cash.
Networking & Funding Skills
The above is helped considerably by having strong online networking skills, meaning an ability to join new groups online and hit the ground running progressing things we would like to achieve.
While it is possible to find funding possibilities in Web 2, pitching for funding takes quite a refined skill set, and this can mean a lot of effort goes into Web 2 funding efforts with very little reward. By comparison, it is easier to locate Web 3 funding, because Web 3 is so open by comparison with Web 2. Do note though, the ability to write effective funding proposals is a skill that also takes a little time to master.
A particular group to take note of in Web 3 are Bankless Africa, who are very active in Web 3 and supportive of new joiners in their Web 3 community. They are planning high activity levels in short order looking for grant opportunities for engaged Bankless Africa members.
And Crypto Opportunities
